Basinghdad or Baghstoke?
There is a striking similarity between the Basingstoke entrance sculpture and the Iran-Iraq war monument in Baghdad. The Baghdad sculpture was cast in Basingstoke the sword blades being made from the melted guns of dead Iraqi soldiers, the hands holding them are moddelled on Saddam Hussein's arms.
